A lucky junior pilot will assist in an aerial plane tour of either the Atchafalaya Basin or their parent's favorite hunting property anywhere in the state, all from the air-conditioned comfort of the safest general aviation aircraft, the Cirrus SR-22 Generation 5.

One adult and two kids will take off from Baton Rouge airport, talk to air-traffic control, learn about flight safety, and fly to your destination. You can take as many photos and video as you like.

The winner of rock-paper-scissors will fly in the co-pilot seat. Time-permitting, we will stop in Lafayette to get some Billy's Boudin and Chicken Cracklin. The last stop is a loop around LSU Tiger Stadium."

LDWF - Louisiana Black bear Trapping for Two

Spend a day with our Black bear biologist when you take this trip, to trap Louisiana Black bears.

Once a Louisiana black bear is trapped, you will be there to witness the science firsthand. Assist the biologist as they collect blood samples, hair samples, and affix a new collar to the bear.

This one of a kind experience will take place in the late summer to fall of 2025.

There is typically a 12-24 hour notice ahead of time (once bear traps are set). The trip for 2, is a dayside trip. You will meet the biologist in one of our designated bear areas along the Mississippi River Corridor.

• Made from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum forging, the flat top upper receiver includes a forward assist, dust cover and brass deflector, and is Type III hard-coat anodized for maximum durability.

• Bolt carrier and gas key have chrome-plated inside diameters to provide exceptional resistance to hot gases. The gas key is staked so that it will not loosen after extensive firing.

• Rifle-length gas system provides smoother operation and reduces felt recoil.
